Job Description

Salary: $139,000 - 139,000 per year Requirements:

  • Bachelors degree in Engineering, such as Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, or a related discipline
  • 5–10 years of progressive project engineering experience in commercial real estate or corporate facilities
  • Strong technical knowledge of building systems, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and life safety
  • Ability to read and interpret architectural and engineering drawings
  • Strong project management and organizational skills, including managing multiple projects simultaneously
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Project
  • Physical ability to navigate construction sites, climb stairs, conduct inspections, and wear required personal protective equipment
  • Familiarity with BIM/CAD software and project management platforms is preferred
  • Experience with DCIM platforms and processes is preferred
  • Experience with Building Management Systems (BMS) is preferred
  • Background in commissioning oversight and punch list management is preferred
  • Experience in data center capacity planning and space management is preferred
  • Knowledge of data center operations, including power, cooling, and infrastructure monitoring, is preferred
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States without visa sponsorship
Responsibilities:
  • Lead delivery of critical facilities services across the assigned portfolio in accordance with agreed policies, procedures, and contract scope
  • Conduct onsite electrical equipment assessments, oversee maintenance activities, set power meters, and record measurements on electrical services and equipment
  • Support assigned projects from initiation through closeout, including developing project scopes, schedules, and budgets
  • Process and validate device installations, moves, adds, and changes in the DCIM platform, maintaining accurate asset records and inventory
  • Review design documents, shop drawings, submittals, and specifications for accuracy and constructability, and confirm compliance with building codes and safety standards
  • Coordinate with architects, engineers, contractors, vendors, and property management throughout project lifecycles; inspect sites to monitor construction progress
  • Manage Building Management Systems for facility operations and monitor power, cooling, and rack utilization in data center environments
  • Prepare maintenance schedules, project updates, as-built documents, warranties, and O&M manuals to support compliance and decision-making
  • Build and maintain relationships with landlords, property management companies, and third-party providers, serving as the primary contact for clients and facility professionals
