Job Description
Green-Gate Technology, Inc. is seeking to hire two Business / Financial Systems Analyst for a proposed Business Operations Support Services contract. The analyst will validate financial and operational data from the General Fund Enterprise Business System (GFEBS) and other approved sources, reconcile accounting fields, and ensure that management reports and Power BI outputs trace back to authoritative records.

Responsibilities

  • Review GFEBS work-order, project, asset, fund and accounting data for completeness, correct identifiers, status and financial classification.
  • Reconcile source transactions to reports, including Annual Work Plan (AWP), Program Budget Guidance, Management Decision Package (MDEP) and Subactivity Group (SAG) 131/132 results; research and document differences.
  • Apply knowledge of federal accounting structures, including the U.S. Standard General Ledger, to validate fields and mappings used in financial data feeds.
  • Test financial data pipelines, aggregation rules and Power BI outputs with the Data Warehouse Specialist and reporting analysts; document source-to-target logic and reporting controls.
  • Check GFEBS work-order and project data against approved cProjects,
  • Maintain exception logs, reconciliation workpapers, transaction references and evidence of review for monthly, quarterly and annual reports.
  • Coordinate with Cost Analysts, Systems / Data Analysts and Government staff to explain data issues, their financial effect and the status of corrective action.

Required qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, information systems, business analytics or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience.
  • At least five years of experience analyzing financial systems and reconciling data, including hands-on GFEBS or directly comparable federal enterprise financial system experience.
  • Working knowledge of federal accounting data, cost objects, project/work-order records, internal controls and traceable financial reporting.
  • Experience validating data mappings or report calculations and explaining exceptions to both financial and technical staff.
  • Advanced Excel skills and ability to review structured datasets; clear written documentation of findings and corrective actions.
  • US Citizenship required
